With over 20 years in the food retail sector, Daisy has operated Daisy’s Fine Foods in Coventry Market for 15 years, becoming the first African woman to do so; she is passionate about inspiring disadvantaged children and young people to reach their full potential.
Daisy joined the Highlife Centre as a Trustee in 2016. She has over 20 years of experience in business with a focus on the food retail sector. Owning and operating Daisy’s Fine Foods in the Coventry Market for 15 years, and being the first African woman to do so in the history of the market, Daisy has a wealth of experience serving communities of colour through her business and an understanding of the well-being through nutrition. In the past four years, she has supported her son to set up Young Beacons Ltd, a company limited by guarantee that supports children to read and enjoy the art of reading. She is passionate about change for a better future for all people, and uses her work with children to educate them on creating a better world by protecting the plant. Daisy has a passion to inspire children and young people, specifically those disadvantaged to be the best they can be.
