Enable our beneficiaries to become confident and productive in their communities so that they can have a sense of purpose, access resources and skills that could turn their aspirations into reality and make positive changes to their lives, aspire and achieve their full potential.
Create a welcoming environment that removes life-improving barriers for people from disadvantaged and marginalised groups to improve their productivity and self-worth.
As an organisation, we have four values we aspire to:
The Highlife Centre is governed by six independent trustees who provide strategic leadership in line with its vision, aims, values and reputation. The board meet quarterly and is committed to its responsibilities. They are independent in decision-making, setting out expected standards of ethics, probity and behaviour.
The board is led by a chair who is responsible for setting priorities, appropriate structures, processes and productive culture. Collectively, they instil robust governance enabling compliance with the law and relevant regulations. The trustees have extensive skills and expertise ranging from business, strategy, marketing, community development, and finance.
Your generosity fuels life-changing programmes that help individuals unlock their potential, overcome challenges, and thrive.
