Spotlighting local Coventry Artists: Yusuf Seidu Okus.
Culture and art are very important to us here at The Highlife Centre. We have facilitated various projects involving culture and art like our African Heritage Project.
We use our platforms to showcase to the world the impact local artists and changemakers can have on the local community. We give them a space to demonstrate their work and tell their story. Our website is one of our platforms where we show off the creative talent within our community. There are many artists across the city displaying works that tell stories and give communities voices, a chance to be heard. Yusuf Seidu Okus is one of these artists.
Yusuf Seidu Okus is a local Coventry artist that has been involved in various cultural and artistic exhibitions across Coventry. His work has allowed young people to see representation of themselves in creative spaces and allowed them to think outside the box.
