Can you be an Enterpreneur?
The latest Startup ambition report highlights that 47% of adults in the UK are considering setting up a business or a side hustle – a significant increase, considering the previous years was 12%. Accompanying this metric is the statistics that over 5.7 million businesses exist in the private sector. This also follows an increase by 3.5 million from previous years’ figures. This data suggests the continuous emergence of new businesses and solidifies the fact that new risks are being taken every day.
Entrepreneurs are associated with skills and a certain type of mindset that makes them stand out from the ordinary person. Such a mindset is recognised by extreme positivity and resilient thinking. Individuals with this mind frame see as opportunities what others may see as risks. They are always generating new ideas to solve everyday problems and are not afraid to advocate their views or to pursue their ideas into existence. Thinking like an entrepreneur is a skill anyone can learn and develop, and, they include attaining a certain level of independence, being accountable for your wins and errors, being goal oriented, being resilient and having the willingness to experiment.
