No Bake treats you can make with your family

Verity a little girl with dark hair baking a cornflake cake

The sun is shining and everybody is out and about enjoying the weather. There is nothing better than coming back from a day out at the park to have some sweet treats. It doesn’t have to be a faff with the kids. There are lots of fun, quick and easy treats you can make at home with your kids to create more fun filled family memories. Here is where you can get started.

Real fruit juice ice lollies

Using some squash and some fruit in some ice lolly moulds and you have a healthy treat at a low cost sorted! Quick and easy to make. Plus the kids can use food dyes to make the lollies fun colours!

Rocky Roads

Similar to a cornflake or rice crispy cake all you need is some melted chocolate, some rice crispies and some marshmellows and the classic Rocky Road is born. Mix the melted chocolate in with the marshmellows and rice crispies then put it in cupcakes then transfer to the fridge to set.

Cookie dough bites

Mix sugar, butter, milk, flour to make a dough then once a dough consistency add chocolate chips to the dough and put the bowl in the fridge to set (amounts dependent on how much you want to make- BBC Good Food has some good recipes for this). Scoop to serve!
